OUR STORY
I am Cameron Compton, founder of Cameronann Designs, and the Stamped and Sent stationery box. I started this stationery company because I experienced a life-changing moment when I received a handwritten note the old-fashioned way, through the US mail. It was short, sweet, and to the point: "Hi! It’s been too long! Let’s get together next week at the deli for lunch." That was enough to reconnect with someone that I had lost contact with for years! I was glad she had sent it through the mail because it took me a day or two to digest her thoughtfulness and to realize what a gift it was. To this day, I'm not sure a phone call would have been as meaningful.
It’s important to reach out with handwritten notes. The fact that you sit down with pen and paper, write on a card, address it, and put a stamp on it, sends the message that you care and that the recipient is worth the time and effort. Can’t you just visualize it?
It’s my mission to reconnect people all over the country, one note at a time. Plus, I just love paper. All different kinds, but the textured ones, like Bazzill, are my favorites. And patterned paper. And glossy, matte, smooth, glittery, sparkly…you get the picture.
I can’t tell you how grateful I am to be a part of your journey to connect, reconnect, and stay connected to all those you hold dear.
